I want to know about generation quantity and step up quantity of power. And how much KVA station in SSTPS

400 kV page link between Rishikesh & Koteshwar improve reliability and improve the power supply to Uttarakhand & will also obviate the power transfer constraint on 400 kV Roorkee -Muzaffarnagar line during low hydro generation condition. This page link would provide additional outlet from Tehri/ Koteshwar generation complex and independent feed for providing reliable and quality power supply to Rishikesh area.

Babai 400/220 kV substation of RRVPNL is a under construction substation Associated with the Transmission System for Suratgarh Super Critical TPS (2x660MW) and shall be connected to Suratgarh through 400kV D/c line. The 400 kV Sikar - Neemrana Powergrid D/C line is crossing Babai S/s at a distance of approx. 1 Km. The proposal of LILO of one ckt of Sikar-Neemrana 400kV line at Babai would be helpful for enhancing the reliability of power supply. The proposed LILO would increase the flexibility in this area.

Suratgarh Super Thermal Power Station is Rajasthan's first super thermal power station. It is located 27 km away from Suratgarh town in Ganganagar district. The power plant is operated by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RVUNL). The power plant has 6 units that can produce 250 megawatts each.

The plant received a gold shield on August 8, 2004 from Hon'ble President for consistently outstanding performance during the years 2000 to 2004. It also received a bronze shield from Hon' Prime Minisr for outstanding performance during the years 2005 and 2006.[1]
