Controller of the water level using 8051 Principle of the circuit:

This system mainly works on a principle that "water conducts electricity". The four wires that are immersed in the tank will indicate the different water levels. Based on the outputs of these cables, the microcontroller shows the water level on the LCD as well as controls the motor.

Circuit Components:

• At89c51 Controller

• At89c51 programming card.

• 16 * 2 LCD

• 5 V Relay

• Transistors Bc547 (NPN) - 5

• Resistors (1K) - 4

• Resistance - 330 ohms

• AC motor

• Pot - 10k

• Programming cable

• Connection cables

Controller of water level using 8051 Circuit design:

The core of this project is the AT89C51 microcontroller. The water level probes are connected to the P3.0, P3.1, P3.2 and P3.3 through the transistors. The P2 port connected to the LCD data pins and the RS, RW and EN control pins of the LCD are connected to the P1.0, P1.1 and P1.2 respectively.

Initially when the tank is empty, the LCD will display the message EMPTY and the engine will run automatically. When the water level reaches the level of a quarter, the LCD shows QUARTER and the engine continues to run. For more levels, LCD displays HALF and ¾ FULL messages.

When the tank is full, the LCD shows FULL and the motor stops automatically. Once again the engine runs when the tank is empty.
