"Bi-directional visitors counter and home automation" using a microcontroller is a reliable circuit that assumes the task of controlling the lights of the room, as well as count the number of people / visitors in the room with great precision. When someone enters the room, then the counter increases by one and the light in the room will turn on and when someone leaves the room, then the counter is decremented by one. Digital visitor counter is a reliable circuit that takes care of the task of counting the number of people / visitors in the room very accurately. When someone enters the room, the counter is increased by one. The total number of people within the room is displayed in the seven-segment display module. The microcontroller does the previous job receiving the signals from the sensors, and these signals operated under software control that is stored in ROM. It can be used to count the number of people entering a room in the upstairs mode at the front door. In the descent mode, you can count the number of people leaving the room reducing the count at the exit door. It can also be used on the doors of parking areas and other public places. This circuit is divided into three parts: sensor, controller and counter. The sensor would observe an interruption and provide an input to the controller that would operate the counter in up / down mode depending on the setting of the selector. The same count is displayed on a set of 7-segment displays through the controller. This project will create counter system to apply. The total number of objects is displayed in the seven-segment display. The system is fully controlled by the 16-bit microcontroller 8051 which has a 4Kbyte ROM for program memory. It can also be used on the doors of parking areas and other public places.
