In the current scenario, power becomes an important necessity of human life. Due to the daily increase of the population and smaller of the conventional sources, it is necessary that we must depend on unconventional sources for the generation of energy. While moving, vehicles possess some kinetic energy and are being wasted this kinetic energy can be used to produce energy by using a special arrangement called "POWER HUMP". The energy of moving vehicles can be converted into mechanical energy from the shaft through the rack and pinion mechanism. This axis is connected to the electric dynamo and produces electrical energy promotional to the density of traffic. This generated energy can be regulated using the zener diode used for general purpose like streetlamps, traffic signs. The electrical output can be improved by the organization of these humps in series this generated power can be amplified and stored by the use of different electric drives. The cost of keeping the hump is almost nil. By adopting this agreement, we can meet future demands to some extent.
