1. What is the semiconductor diode laser?

Ans. The semiconductor diode laser is a specially manufactured pn junction diode. Emits laser light when

Forward biased.

2. What is LASER?

Ans. The term LASER stands for Amplification of Light by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. It's a device that produces a powerful monochromatic beam of collimated light in which the waves are coherent.

3. What are the characteristics of laser radiation?

Ans. Laser radiations have high intensity, high coherence, high mono-resonance and high directionality with less divergence.

4. How do low level lasers work?

Ans. The pain is the result of trauma, inflammation and / or cellular alteration, malfunction or less than optimal cellular function. Cure and pain relief come with cellular normalization. Photons allow cells to function optimally by stimulating them to initiate biochemical reactions, which produce enzymes and ATP (usable energy). The use of low level laser improves cellular function and can also promote the formation of collagen and cartilage in damaged joints and the repair of tendons and ligaments.
