CBSE class 12 physics investigatory Projects tangent galvanometer
CBSE reintroduced investigative projects in physics is AISSCE WEF 2013 applicable to students who are in class XI during the academic year 2011-12 and 2013 Board Exam writing.

Work is now only for demonstration purposes. The student must perform a minimum of 15 experiments per year.

For the exam, he or she must perform two experiments; one of the section a and section B one.

The proposed investigative PROJECTS CLASS XII

1 the various factors on which you can examine the internal resistance/EMF cell depends.

2. to study the changes in the current flowing in the circuit that includes PHILADELPHIA and the resulting from change. (A) effective incandescent lamps used for lighting in the LDS. (Keeping all the bulbs at a fixed distance). (B) at a distance from an incandescent lamp, (fixed power) is used to "illuminate" in PHILADELPHIA.

3. to find the refractive index of indicators (a) water (b) oil (transparent) Using a flat mirror and a lens is equiconvex (from a glass known refractive index) and the year of adjustable object of the needle.

4. develop appropriate year for the combinatin of logical gate truth table.

5. to have explored the relationship between ratio of (I) the output and the input voltage and (II) the number of turns in the primary and secondary winding of the transformer is designed itself.

6. to have a dependency on the angle of deviation angle using a hollow filled with perspective, one after the other, with different clear liquids.

7. to assess the charge induced on each of two identical Styro foam (or Cork) balloons, suspended in the vertical plane, using the Coulomb law.

8. to set up a common base transistor input and learn from STIs and output characteristics and current STI, up available.

9. examine the factor at which the inductance of the coil, is watching the effect of the coil, when when in series with the resistor/(bulb) in a circuit, fed up as source frequency controlled.

10. to build a switch using the transistor and draw a graph between the input and output voltage and check the cutoff and saturation of the active regions.

11. to study the Earth's magnatic field using the tangent galvanometer.

Purpose:

1. determine the reduction factor of the tangent galvanometer given (K).
2. to find the horizontal component of the magnetic field of the Earth (VN).

Equipment:

Tangent galvanometer (TG), Switch ©, ® Resistor, battery (E), ammeter (a), the key (K), etc.

Principle:

Kogdaa rod magnet suspended on two magnetic field B and Bh that makes egocomes comes in the idle state with the angle θ direction Bh.

Theory:

Tangent galvanometer is a year ahead of the measuring instrument of small electric current. It consists of coils of insulated copper wire wound on non-magnetic ring frames. His work is based on the principle of the tangent law of magnetism. When a current is passed through a circular coil, the magnetic field (b) are in the Centre of the coil in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the coil.TheT. is a Policy that the horizontal component of the magnetic field of the Earth (BH) is in the direction of the plane of the coil. The tangent galvanometer was first described in an 1837 paper by Claude-Servais-Mathias Pouillet (1790-1868), who later employed this sensitive form of galvanometer to verify Ohm's law. To use the galvanometer, it is first set up on a level surface and the coil aligned with the magnetic north-south direction. This means that the compass needle at the middle of the coil is parallel with the plane of the coil when it carries no current. The current to be measured is now sent through the coil, and produces a magnetic field, perpendicular to the plane of the coil, and directly proportional to the current. The magnitude of the magnetic field produced by the coil is B; the magnitude of the horizontal component the earth's magnetic field is B'. The compass needle aligns itself along the vector sum of B and B' after rotating through an angle Ø from its original orientation. The vector diagram shows that tan Ø = B/B'. Since the magnetic field of the earth is constant, and B depends directly on the current, the current is thus proportional to the tangent of the angle through which the needle has turned.
