An industrial visit to Parag Dairy, Lucknow was organized on March 5 and 6, 2013 for BBA, MBA students from the Training and Placement Department. During the visit, students learned how to manage supply, 3PL logistics solutions, materials management and other innovative techniques adopted by Parag to provide logistics and supply chain management solutions to their customers.
The details of the operations were explained by Mr. S.U.Khan, from Parag, Lucknow, with his teachers Sonal, Ms.Nisha and Shreyasi, the students obtained valuable information about this organization.
The Parag milk dump is located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Since independence it has been part of the traditional supply line of agricultural products from the village to the big cities. This milk union continued to operate for about a decade, while Lucknow's milk scheme was established by the Government of India in 1959-60 to ensure cheaper milk to local Lucknow contamination. The scheme began operating through 12 refrigeration centers in eastern Uttar Pradesh
GCRG Memorial Trust Institution Group organized two days of industrial visit for MBA and BBA students at its Lucknow Campus. It was aimed at sharpen students' knowledge. The program was carried out by the Training and Placement Department.
The main person was Mr. S.U. Khan provided valuable input and practical tactics to students to improve their knowledge.
Students learned about Milk Cooperative, perceived as a business organization, is simply a group of people who have voluntarily grouped together resources and energies to pursue a common goal from which they gain mutual benefits, with many fun and fun activities.
Mr.S.U. Khan said that "Uttar Pradesh is the largest milk producing state in India that contributes 17% of India's total milk production.In 2010-2011, total milk production in the state was Of 21033.3 thousand kg per day.I was actually learning with fun. "
