The pedal operated two-way saw machine which can be used for industrial applications for cutting of wood block, metal rod and pipe as well. The machine works on the principle of the slider crank mechanism. In this machine, the pedal is connected to the crank which is connected directly to the frame of the saw on both sides and the power is supplied to the frame of the saw by means of a chain. The main goal behind this machine to reduce both cutting time and energy in which no external power is required for cutting operation, is also available at an affordable cost. The two-way peddle power saw machine, which operates on human power, works on the principle of the conversion from rotary motion to oscillatory motion. This is a green project that saves our need for electricity and can be easily applicable on today's day of life.
The power of the pedal is the transfer of energy from a human being through the use of a pedal and a mechanism of the crank system. This technology is most commonly used for transportation and has been used to power bicycles in many decades. At 1/3 HP, continuous pedaling can be served only for short periods, approximately 10 to 15 minutes. However, pedaling at half of this power (1/8 HP) can be maintained for about 50 minutes, but the power capacity may depend on individual person.
