OptiSystem is a simulation package of optical communication systems for the design, testing and optimization of links between optical networks. In modern communications systems, conventional cables are being replaced by optical fibers because they have a high bandwidth and therefore offer high data rates and are immune to noise. Tools like the opti system have been developed to design communication systems using fiber optic links. OptiSystem offers a wide range of applications, from CATV / WDM network design and SONET / SDH ring design to map design and transmitter, channel, amplifier and receiver design.
To walk hand in hand with the modern era, you need to have a proper understanding of the technologies in the trend. To improve your knowledge about trends and software tools, foundation courses have been introduced by EESPL. One of these foundation courses designed by EESPL is in the opti system. This basic course takes a total of 30 hours of time and you will have enough knowledge of the tool to design any communication model.
