INTRODUCTION
What is embedded system?
A special-purpose computer system designed to perform one or a few dedicated functions.
It is a combination of both hardware and software.
The program instructions written for embedded systems are referred to as firmware, and are stored in read-only memory or flash memory chips
Applications such as digital watches ,mp4 players, traffic lights, factory controllers, or the systems controlling nuclear power stations etc.
