The well-being of employees is a major concern of employers. Before the trade union movements of the early twentieth century, employers cared little for the welfare of employees and instead thought that the work of employees was something that was bought at the lowest possible price. In today's world, employers must be more careful to be careful about the welfare of employees. In short, the welfare of employees is to ensure the good of all employees. Employers should look for several different goals in promoting the well-being of employees.
Wellness includes everything that is done for comfort and improvement of employees and is provided above wages. Wellness helps keep the morale and motivation of employees high in order to retain employees for longer. Welfare measures do not have to be only in monetary terms, but in any type / form. Employee welfare includes the monitoring of working conditions, the creation of industrial harmony through health infrastructure, labor relations and insurance against illness, accidents and unemployment for workers and their families.
Work wellness involves all those activities of the employer that are aimed at providing employees with certain facilities and services in addition to wages or salaries.
Work well-being has the following objectives:
• Improve the life and health of workers
• Make workers happy and satisfied
O Relieve workers from industrial fatigue and improve the intellectual, cultural and material living conditions of workers.
The basic characteristics of measures of welfare of the work are the following:
Work wellness includes various facilities, services and amenities provided to workers to improve their health, efficiency, economic improvement and social status.
• Welfare measures are in addition to regular wages and other economic benefits available to workers due to legal provisions and collective bargaining
O Work wellness plans are flexible and always change. New welfare measures are added to existing ones from time to time.
Welfare measures can be introduced by employers, government, employees or by any social or charitable agency.
• The purpose of work well-being is to achieve the development of the whole personality of workers to make a better workforce.
