Abstract
This Paper describes the combination of Solar and Wind Energy to get Thermal Energy. This thermal energy is again converted into Electrical Energy to recharge battery packs. The work done in this paper is to combine two separate sources of energy and recharge the battery packs while the vehicle is static or dynamic. This combination of energy can be extracted from solar thermal radiations from the sun and by attaining pressure and velocity from the wind which is capable of driving wind turbine blades at a higher velocity to generate greater amount of power to recharge the battery packs. Cost for this power generation is totally priceless since, the energy obtained is freely available.

Normally Electric Vehicle runs on DC Motor because of its good torque, easy speed control and easy reversible characteristics. The hybrid vehicle is designed and fabricated and the performance is tested on the vehicle and a new concept of recharging the battery packs is implemented. Petrol IC engine generator is used to generate power to recharge. Hence one step a head now it is decided not to use the fossil fuel and turned the vision towards renewable energy source. To overcome this issue a research is conducted on the mixing of energy and the net energy obtained generates power. In this paper the design of the vehicle is changed according to the mixture of energy. Solar reflectors and carbon-coated tubes are used in the construction of the vehicle. Solar
collectors are used to reflect the thermal radiation from the sun to a concentrated point and when that point is heated, the temperature increases the air inside the carbon-coated tube. When the temperature increases the air it loses all its moisture and the air gets lighter and it tries to move from low level to high level due to this displacement in air the pressure increases in the air, since velocity increases nearly 10 times more then a normal air. This velocity is capable of rotating a turbine at a speed of 600rpm and that is capable of rotating an alternator at 1500rpm using a high-speed gearbox, which can generate sufficient amount of power to recharge battery packs and also for all other electrical need inside the vehicle. This generated power can also been used for domestic needs when there is a need of power
In this paper the major drawback on this system is during winter and/or cloudy days the air inside the tubes cannot be heated and that indirectly reflects on the power generation. So to improve the power generation some changes are made on the design, which is discussed briefly inside the paper.
