Nanophosphates have been extensively investigated over the last decade because of their potential for application to various displays and high performance devices. These act as a strategic component in almost all screens. Synthesis of nano-phosphors can be achieved in two ways namely chemical and physical methods. Under different chemical methods, different pathways are being followed, such as colloidal, plugging, bunting, sol-gel, electrochemistry, etc. The widely used physical methods are molecular beam epitaxy, ionised cluster ray, liquid metal ion source, consolidation, cathodic sputtering and monomer gas aggregation. Chemical precipitation in the presence of coagulating agents, reaction in micro-emulsions, sol-gel reaction and self-combustion are techniques commonly used for the synthesis of nano-phosphors. However, the particle size should be restricted to 3-5 nm to obtain the real advantage of quantum confinement. In other words, the particle size must be less than twice the exciton Bohr radii, since the quantum confinement regime is limited to that size. We discuss a brief review of the different synthesis techniques used worldwide for the development of industrially important nano-phosphors and the scope of particle size reduction achieved.
Hi am Adi i would like to get details on nanophosphors ppt ..My friend Justin said nanophosphors ppt will be available here
