Abstract :
seminar The second generation (2G) mob[/size]ile systems have been a great success in the previous decade. Their success has prompted the development of third generation (3G) mobile systems. While 2G systems such as GSM, IS-95, and cdmaOne were designed for voice and low speed data, 3G systems have been designed to provide data rates higher. During the evolution from 2G to 3G, a range of wireless systems, including GPRS, IMT-2000, Bluetooth, WLAN and HIPERLAN, has been developed. All these systems are designed independently, targeting different types of services, data rates, and users. Since all these systems have their advantages and disadvantages, there is no single system that is good enough to replace all other technologies. Instead of putting efforts into the development of radio interfaces and technologies 4G Systems, there are scholars, we believe that the establishment of 4G systems that integrate existing and new wireless systems is a more realistic option.
