Modern home with optimum energy conservation

ABSTRACT

Now a day’s technology increasing rapidly recently it is affecting home needs also. To make normal home to modern home we are introducing some luxury facilities like we can operate any of the electronic devices like FAN LIGHT AC with our T.V remote. For this application we are using AT-mega8 Micro controller which is heart of this project. Fallowing to microcontroller we are also using relays to operate AC appliances.
The Block diagram of the system is shown below
In this project the home automation has been achieved with a TV remote. A commonly available TV remote control has been used to control most of electric appliances in once home. The TV Remote uses RC5 protocol for its communication with the receiver which has been implemented in this project in order that each button on the Remote is assigned a specific device control function to it.
