Our project will provide an optimal solution for this setback. According to this project when a vehicle encounters an accident immediately The vibration sensor will detect the signal. The microcontroller sends the alert message via the GSM MODEM including the location to the police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the key to the location, after receiving the information. Then, after shaping the location will take the necessary action. If the person encounters a small accident or if there is no serious threat to someone's life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to avoid wasting the valuable time of the rescue team doctor.
There is a drastic increase in the number of vehicles these days that also cause a steep increase in the number of accidents with a lot of people who lose their lives. According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 1.2 million people die each year due to motor vehicle crashes. The traffic accident in India registers 16% of road traffic deaths in the world, while India has only 1%. This is due to the increase in the number of vehicles without a subsequent increase in the facilities of the Road required for this. In most accident cases, the victims lose their lives due to the lack of medical facilities at the right time. To solve problems like these, this project came about. In case of an accident, the system sends automated messages to the pre-programmed numbers. The vehicle owner, the police to clear the traffic, the ambulance to save people can be informed by this device.
This uses a location keys to know the exact position of the vehicle with an accuracy of a few feet. GSM is used to receive SMS from the user and respond to the position of the vehicle through an SMS. . An 8051 microcontroller is used to control and coordinate all the parts used in this system. When there is an accident, the vibration sensor gives the signal to the microcontroller, which sends the information to the LCD screen through the GSM network. The automatic accident tracking system module uses an IR pair. The transmitter circuit transmits the IR waves to the target and in the section of the receiver, the receiver receives the IR signals with variations and gives adequate output to the microprocessor. If there is a fire during the accident, the smoke detector will detect the smoke which in turn will activate the location keys to plot the position of the vehicle to give a proper input to the microcontroller.
