Relay coordination techniques provide fast sensitivity and fault clearing time in transmission lines. In several studies the optimum algorithm is mainly used to use control and stability in this technique. The relay coordination technique works efficiently in the interconnected grid of the electrical system. This new improved technique is very simple, optimal and efficient. There are many realistic techniques used to provide efficient and fail-proof network transmission, and is carried out because of this very effective technique. For optimum coordination of overcurrent relays (OC), linear programming techniques like simplex, simplex and dual simplex. Another form of optimal coordination program is the use of artificial intelligent systems such as the genetic algorithm (GA). Most OC relays accept only discrete values such as TSM and PSM, and you must change your final responses discreetly and this can corrupt the optimization. In this work we take into account the act of quantifying the responses as part of the optimization procedure, so that the outputs are optimized discrete TSMs and PSM's. The novelty of the document is taking into account the PSM, in addition to TSM to handle problems of poor coordination for both continuous and discrete TSM and PSM. The results obtained are quite encouraging and will be useful as an effective tool for coordinating OC relays.
