India-bulls Securities Ltd, India's leading Capital Markets Company announced the appointment of Ajay Bhatia as the chairman of its capital markets division.
Having successfully established the Institutional Broking Business arm at Macquarie, Ajay joins India-bulls Securities, where he will play a key role in setting up a board of the institution that would soon be followed by an investment banking unit. He will be based in Mumbai and will report directly to Mr. Divyesh Shah, CEO of India-bulls Securities Ltd.
Ajay has more than 15 years of experience in the institutional marketing, research and finance strategy. He joined Macquarie as Chief Sales Officer in November 2005 when the company decided to set up its operation in India. Prior to Macquarie, Ajay worked with Enam Securities for 14 years, where he directed Research and also headed the Market Strategy aspect of the business. He was involved in business development as part of the main member team that was instrumental in creating the institutional Broker business arm.
