As pen drives come under the consumer electronics industry, which is one of the largest segments of the electronics industry in India. The consumer electronics industry in India promises enormous potential in the coming years. The double-digit compound annual growth over the next five years will be boosted by several factors such as increased household income, local manufacturing and expansion of distribution networks. As far as the local economy is concerned, there will be no effect on our business if there is any change in the local economy. The flash market is one of the largest growth segments in India. However, because of their substantial reliance on parallel imports, other than the business generated through authorized dealers, it is very difficult to estimate the correct size of the market. And, surprisingly, the model is highly supported by the directors themselves. The market is mainly fed by China and Taiwan, and runs purely on cash transactions. It is a high volume business, made through IT and telecommunications channels, as well as large format retail. However, with the current rights structure in force, fiscal year 09 witnessed a significant decline in parallel imports.
