Manufactured sand is a river substitute for building construction sand produced from hard granite stone by crushing. The crushed sand is cubic in shape with edges to the ground, washed and classified as building material. The size of the fabricated sand (M-Sand) is less than 4.75 mm.

Manufactured sand is an alternative for river sand. Due to the rapidly growing construction industry, demand for sand has increased tremendously, causing adequate river sand deficiency in most of the word. Due to the depletion of good quality river sand for construction use, the use of manufactured sand has been increased. Another reason for using M-Sand is its availability and shipping cost. Since this sand can be crushed from hard granite rocks, it can be readily available in the near place, reducing the cost of transporting the bed far away from the river sand.
Therefore, the cost of construction can be controlled by the use of sand made as an alternative material for construction. The other advantage of using M-Sand is, it can be dust free, m-sand sizes can be easily controlled to meet the required classification for the given construction.

The advantages of manufactured sand (M-Sand) are:

• It is well-graded in the required proportion.
• It does not contain organic and soluble compound that affects the time of setting and the properties of the cement, reason why it is possible to maintain the required resistance of the concrete.
• It has no presence of impurities such as clay, dust and sediments, increases the water requirement as in the case of river sand, which damages the bond between the cement paste and the aggregate. Thus, the increase of the quality and the durability of the concrete.
• M sand is obtained from specific hard rock (granite) using cutting-edge international technology, so you get the required sand property.
• M-Sand is cubic in shape and is made using technology such as high-carbon steel rock and then the ROCK ON ROCK process, which is synonymous with the natural process experienced in river sand information.
• Modern and imported machines are used to produce M-Sand to ensure the required grading area for the sand.
