LPC2148 has 32kB on the SRAM chip and 512kB on the FLASH memory chip. It has built-in support for up to 2kB of end-point USB memory as well. This large amount of memory is suitable for almost all applications.

When started in integrated programming, the GPIO pins (eg, general purpose input output) are one of the first things that are played back. It is also quite evident that the most popular "hello world" program in integrated system programming is Blinky, that is, an LED connected to a pin in the Microcontroller that keeps blinking. The use of GPIO is not limited to driving LEDs, but it can also be used to read the digital signal, generate activators for external components, control external devices and what not.
