LIVE HUMAN DETECTION AND TRACKING USING GPS AND SEND SMS THROUGH GSM TO A MOBILE
Introduction
Embedded Technology predominates as it overcomes the drawbacks of all the existing mechanical and electronic systems. An embedded system is housed on a single microcontroller board with the programs stored in ROM.
Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense.
GPS works in any weather conditions, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. There are no subscription fees or setup charges to use GPS.

ABSTRACT
The project is intended for tracing whether a human is alive or dead in a hazardous zone or mines over a particular area.
A temperature sensor is fitted with the human body as a tag.
The sensor will sense the body temperature and feed it to the comparator circuit. The circuit will compare the temperature with reference value, and if it finds the temperature to be abnormal it triggers to GSM module and transmits signal which defines the human is alive.
The robot if picks this signals it stops there and triggers the alarm. The project uses the Atmel series of microcontroller

LIVE HUMAN DETECTION AND TRACKING USING GPS AND SEND SMS THROUGH GSM TO A MOBILE
Abstract :
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. GPS was originally intended for military applications, but in the 1980s, the government made the system available for civilian use. GPS works in any weather conditions, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. There are no subscription fees or setup charges to use GPS.
GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) is an open, digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services. GSM differs from first generation wireless systems in that it uses digital technology and time division multiple access transmission methods. GSM is a circuit-switched system that divides each 200 kHz channel into eight 25 kHz time-slots. GSM supports data transfer speeds of up to 9.6 kbit/s, allowing the transmission of basic data services such as SMS (Short Message Service).
Project Description :
This project Live Human Detection and Tracking Using GPS and Send SMS through GSM to A Mobile deals with giving intelligence to the existing security system. In this the human identity is carried out using a Human live detection sensor. The unique act as human attributes and can be checked out for verification. The human live detection sensor is interfaced to the input port of the microcontroller, which keeps track of the Identification.
The GPS device getting the longitudinal and latitudinal value of the Human place .The GPS receiver receives the Longitudinal and latitudinal value. This setup acts as Master and connected to slave system GSM modem via RS 232 cable. The Master detects the movement of the human body& place and sends a signal to slave via data port. Once slave receives the signal it will send a SMS to the number which is already stored on that. The receivers will receive a SMS from that GSM modem.

The exact cost of the project is not known. Maybe someone who did the project can help you. You can also search for the prices of the major modules in the project like GSM module etc and reach a rough estimate of the cost.
