Crime File System is a system used to report crimes. This project will be done using VB 6.0 as a front-end and MS Access as a back-end. It can be used to report the crime. This project is mainly useful for police stations. This system will help manage all activities in a police station using computers. Currently all works are done manually, by computerizing all activities within a police station can be managed easily and effectively.
CRIME FILE SYSTEM initiates the objective of providing the user with a customized and powerful software for claims registration and process management software. The software is built with all the options such as complaint log, prisoner record, and postmortem report generation etc ... All requirements specified during the analysis and design phase are fully met, resulting in the formation of a good software. The interface provided is very easy to use and flexible for all times.
The system provides adequate safety and reduces manual labor. The existing system in the police station has several disadvantages and many more difficulties to work well. The proposed system seeks to eliminate or reduce these difficulties to some extent. The proposed system helps police station employees to work with ease of use.
