B.Tech in Electronics and Communication and Engineering (ECE) and MS by Research in ECE (ECD)

Eligibility
For highly motivated and research oriented Student should be completing his/her 2nd year of B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT by this July 2016 are eligible to apply for the CSD lateral entry programme.
For highly motivated and research oriented Student should be completing his/her 2nd year of B.E./B.Tech in ECE / ETE / EIE / EEE by this July 2016 are eligible to apply for the ECD lateral entry programme.

Mode of admission
The written test will be conducted. Applicants will be shortlisted for written test, and then for interview based on written examination performance for final selection. The institute is not obliged to fill up all the seats if it does not find enough quality students.

ECE Subjects: Above topics for descriptive + General Subject Knowledge.
Digital Logic; Circuit Theory and Networks; Electronic Devices and Circuits.
Computer Science:
Objective Exam (120 minutes):
General Aptitude
Discrete Mathematics
CS Subjects: Above topics for descriptive + General Subject Knowledge.
Descriptive Exam (60 minutes):
Digital Logic; Computer Organization; Programming; Data Structures
