INTRODUCION
A robot is a machine designed to execute one or more tasks repeatedly, with speed and precision. There are as many different types of robots as there are tasks for them to perform. The field of robotics may be more practically defined as the study, design and use of Robot systems for manufacturing
Robotics is the science and technology of robots, their design, manufacture, and application. Robotics requires a working knowledge of electronics, mechanics and software, and is usually accompanied by a large working knowledge of many subjects.
TYPES OF ROBOTS
Cartesian robot: Used for pick and place work
Cylindrical robot: Used for assembly operations, handling at machine tools,
Spherical/Polar robot: Used for handling at machine tools, spot welding, diecasting,
Articulated robot: Used for assembly operations, diecasting,
Parallel robot: One use is a mobile platform handling cockpit flight simulators.
Multi-Agent System Support
multi-agent system architecture,
which is split into three layers
(1) the human agents layerthat provides interfaces with the end-user, experts and operator
(2) the software agents layer that congures, maintains,and exploits the robots by interacting with the upperlayer
(3) the physical layer, where robots lay.

On the one hand, tracks allow better mobility than wheels, but they are less energy

HARDWARE SECTION
DC Motor:
A motor consist of a rotor and a permanent magnetic field stator.The magnetic field is maintained using either permanent magnets or electromagnetic windings.
Motor are the devices that provide the actual speed and torque in a drive system.
Landmine sensor
Sensor detects an object when the object approaches within the detection boundary of the sensor. Proximity sensors
Various types of proximity sensors are used for detecting the presence or absence of an object.
Power supply:
There are many types of power supply. Most are designed to convert high voltage AC mains electricity to a suitable low voltage supply for electronics circuits and other devices.
Buzzer:
Buzzer in generally used to alert the humans by giving sound. In this project, if the robot detects any landmine in the path, it will give the buzzer.
APPLICATIONS
Metal Detectors-Capable of finding Low metal contents mines in mineralized soil.
In Defence,like Military mine fields also its
highly effective for detecting.

Easier to navigate across difficult Terrain.
Safe for the User operator.
Can climb Incline.
It can Detonate all landmines.
Cheaper for all Robots and having high resolution area.
FUTURE ASPECT
In this Landmine Detector,robot is connected and self controlled and it will sound the Buzzer when it fins the landmine. This can be extended by making robot controlled by human, it can be by Mobile or PC. It can also try o make the Landmines by a robot using advance technologies.
CONCLUSION
The “LAND MINE DETECTING ROBOT” has been successfully designed and tested. Integrating features of all the hardware components used have developed it.
Secondly, using highly advanced IC’s and with the help of growing technology this has been successfully implemented.
