Dr.K.S.Chandrasekhar,popularly recognized as Dr.K.S.C. born on 16th Dec.1953, obtained post graduate degree from Bangalore University securing second rank in 1973 and joned The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in the same year. He obtained doctorate degree from Karnataka University - Dharwad in 1985. Since 1996 he has authored over 20 popular student friendly textbooks on Engineering Mathematics for Mysore, Kuvempu and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). He recieved Rotary Datta Teachers Award in 2003 and 'Hoysala' award in 2008. He was the Chairman of Bord of Studies (Basic Sciences) of VTU during 2007-11.
