KIDS MONITORING SYSTEM
#1

[attachment=14216]
In school or amusement parks, kids should left freely to enjoy and learn themselves about the surrounding and circumstances. And also they could gain knowledge and can build an in depended attitude and also can be bold because parents are not interfering worrying about their kids each and every movement in the park or school .Such an atmosphere can be created only if there is any method to track their kids throughout ,by using this technology KIDS MONITORING SYSTEM parents can monitor their kids in real time, so that kids can be bold and independent and their parents can always keep an eye through this device whether their kid has trouble or kidnapped etc.
The proposed system consists of an Embedded System Based Microcontroller unit which is central module that controls the entire operation of KIDS MONITORIMG SYSTEM along with a GPS interfacing, GSM interfacing, RS232/serial port interfacing using USART, Speech processing modules, Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Accelerometer Sensor.
Working of Kids Monitoring System
Global Positioning System (GPS) interfacing is used for locating the children’s position .For this purpose a G Mouse is used .GPS module is interfaced to a Microcontroller through USART. If we are connecting the GPS location to GSM or Google Map, we can easily monitor the kids through Mobile phone or Internet. Controller read data from speech processing IC module using USART (Universal Synchronous Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) interfacing. MEMS Accelerometer sensor, which is connected to the analog channel, is used for detecting the dislocations of the child that is when the kids is tumbled or lay due to ill then the message will be send to the parents through GSM . When the speed of the kid is varied from their normal speed for example if the kid has been kidnapped by someone during school time, that will be also detected and inform to their parents. In the case of any emergency like the kid is not feeling well or scared the kid can press the key attached to his/her dress then system also enables the communication between parents and kids.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a worldwide resource from which the user is exact location can be derived. Until now, adding GPS capability to a product has almost always required treating GPS as a stand alone function. That is, adding a GPS module that provides the entire function from tracking the GPS satellites to computing the finished position, velocity, and time (PVT) solutions, which then are communicated to the host computer for use in the overall application. The Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) is the most popular standard for mobile phones in the world.
Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) is the integration of mechanical elements, sensors, actuators, and electronics on a common silicon substrate through micro fabrication technology. While the electronics are fabricated using integrated circuit (IC) process sequences (e.g., CMOS, Bipolar, or BICMOS processes), the micromechanical components are fabricated using compatible "micromachining" processes that selectively etch away parts of the silicon wafer or add new structural layers to form the mechanical and electromechanical devices.
Speech recognition tools for human-machine interaction (HMI) in consumer equipments have been recently become a reality because of the improvement in pattern recognition technologies, signal processing and the development of high performance microcontroller devices al low cost. The speech recognition method could implemented (programmed) onto a standard microcontroller device, with the requirement of a typical midrange application like memory, limited computing resources (8/32 bit integer arithmetic), low clock frequency (MHZ), low resolution A/D converters and low sampling frequency .This project uses a dedicated speech recognition IC .The user has the option of recording his/her voice which can e later used to control the devices based on the voice input.
