It is one of the oldest teacher training colleges in Kenya for elementary school teachers.
Students from the Kagumo Teachers College in Nyeri yesterday raided the Nyeri-Karatina road protesting a rate increase by Kenya's National Examining Board.
More than 600 students accused Knec of raising fees for Sh3,000 without notice. Fees have been increased from Sh12, 300 to Sh15, 300.
