Role of stake holders

The Department of Collegiate Education:
· List the colleges to start the training course through Sahayog scheme
· Identify the Sahayog partners and chalk out the course contents
· Sign MoU with the Sahayog partners
· Oversee the working of the scheme
The principals:
· Act as a chairperson for the Sahayog scheme
· Enter into an agreement with the respective Sahayog Partner adhering to the departmental MoU in
letter and spirit
· Provide infrastructural support
· Identify a teacher coordinator to oversee the programme
· Form a steering committee comprising of 2-3 faculty members
· Arrange for office assistance for fee collection, stock book and other
related activities
· Review the programme
· Provide observation and suggestions for improvement of the programme
Coordinators:
· Act as a liaison officer between the college and Sahayog partners
· Maintain records of the students’ attendance, progress and placements
· Submit annual reports to the Head Office jointly with the steering committee
· Facilitate job fares
Sahayog Partners:
· Submit detailed course content to the Department and the respective colleges
· Conduct an orientation regarding the training course for all stakeholders in the college
· Conduct an skill assessment test for students before and after the course
· Submit progressive report of each student and other training details to the college
· Issue a certificate jointly with the principal after end of the training course
· Arrange job fares after the end of the course
· Submit a college wise comprehensive report to the Department
Suggested road map
· Motivate more students to take up the training course
· Find sponsors for students in need of financial assistance
· Identify other competent trainers to be Sahayog partners and enter into MoU with the Department
