Founded in Beijing in 1984, Lenovo acquired IBM's PC business in 2005 and became the first PC manufacturer in 2013. Entered the Android and Windows tablet market in 2011, began selling Android smartphones in 2012 and acquired Motorola Mobility by Google in 2014. The company has also launched an online sub-brand for smartphones called Zuk in China. The latest mobile release from Lenovo is the Z2 Plus. The smartphone was launched in September 2016. The handset comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 pixels at 1920 pixels at a PPI of 441 pixels per inch.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and comes with 3GB of RAM. Phone packs of 32GB of internal storage can not be extended. In terms of cameras, the Lenovo Z2 Plus includes a primary 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing shutter for selfies.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus runs on Android 6.0.1 and is powered by a non-removable 3500mAh battery. It measures 141.65 x 68.88 x 8.45 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 149.00 grams.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus is a dual SIM smartphone (GSM and GSM) that supports Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for the 40 band used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors in the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor and Gyroscope.
