Interviewer : Why do you have a increase in percentage from 10th to 12th standard.(93% to 96%).
Me : My standard of thinking was increased. and my approach to a problem was different and very matured so.

Interviewer : Then why is your percentage decreased in B.Tech(I got 84% )
Me : Being an engineer we need to concentrate not only on academics and on lot and blah blah blah.

Interviewer : Asked about my leadership skills.
Me : Told.

Interviewer : How do you prepare for quiz competitions?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : Have you did anything out of your self interest besides academics?
Me : Told about the akshaya kshetra orphanage I volunteered.

Interviewer : About my paper presentation, workshop and competitions I participated?
Me : Told.
(she was very impressed).

Interviewer : Do you have any questions?
Me: I said that all my questions were cleared in the pre placement talk itself.

Interviewer : That was great. You may leave now.
Me : Thank you madam for giving this opportunity. It was a great interview.

Interviewer : The pleasure is mine.

Next we waited for almost 3 hours to get a call to technical interview. For all my friends it was a technical interview. For me I had another round of hr. So there is no guarantee guys you will have both technical and hr.

In my second interview I was mainly tested for confidence levels. I am from ECE background.

Me: May I come in sir.
Interviewer : Yes, come in.
Me : Good afternoon sir.

Interviewer : Please take your seat.
Me : Thank you.

Interviewer : Your academics are very good. Why do you opt for IT JOB?
Me : Told.

Interviewer :What is the speciality in IT job according to you?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : You are choosing an entire different field. How do you think you can manage in here?
Me : Told about my programming skills and my attitude and my interest in programming.

Interviewer: Then why do you choose ECE?
Me : Because there will be a chance in learning both about computers and electronics and.

Interviewer : Why should I believe you?(testing your confidence).
Me : I'm the most trustworthy person.

Interviewer : That was good to know. What forms of leadership you have exhibited until now?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : When did you came to know that infy is visiting your campus?
Me : 1 month.

Interviewer : What did you do first after knowing about this?
Me : I have searched net, on how the exam and interview is going to be.

Interviewer : Where do you find that.
Me : Told about this website.

Interviewer : What do they say about infosys?
Me : (I said my version of infosys)The selection process of infy is very tough compared to other companies. So, once you get selected there persons whom you are going to meet will be equally talented or more talented than you. So, you will have more chance for professional growth.Entering into infy is like entering into world of opportunities.

Interviewer : Why do u choose infy?
Me : Told.
(He was impressed).

Interviewer : Do you know about C, C++?
Me : Yes.

Interviewer : Can you do whatever program I will give to you?
Me : Yes, of course
(Repeated the same question).

Interviewer : Asked about applications of electronics in computers?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : Is there any electronic device that you think by adding software to it, it works more efficiently?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : (asked situations)If you did a project in your core & submitted to your HOD. He said it was already an existing project and asked why you wasted this much time in this one. What is your reaction?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : You and your friend did a project in IT job and both of you did wrong and you are on the final stage of submission. What will you do?
Me : Told something.

Interviewer : You and your friend did same work . and the manager is appreciating only your friend and not you. What will be Your reaction?
Me : I said I don't want any praise from others. I just need satisfaction from the work I do.

Interviewer : He said its not the correct way. If you do say there won't be any promotions or increments. You must complain to the higher authorities.
Me : I said I'll definitely follow the advice.

Interviewer : Have you ever solved an issue either in academics or outside?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : What is your approach to a problem? how do u solve it?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : (He finally appreciated me)So far I have interviewed many candidates. You are the most confident person and ur communication is very good. I appreciate it.

Me : Thank you.(I thought my job is confirmed as any one won't get that kind of appreciation.So,they are not looking for absolute correct answers.what they want is your approach towards it, your confidence levels and your english fluency.)

Interviewer : can you relocate?
Me : Yes.

Interviewer : Do u have any questions?
Me : What are things that I need to learn before I join infy?

Interviewer : He said to be proficient in dot net, dbms, oracle. So that it helps in making your training classes easy.
Me : I'll definitely learn them.

Interviewer : You may leave now.
Me : Thank u sir.
