The hydraulic lift is a device used to lift or lower passengers and loads from floor to floor in multi-storey buildings.

DETAILS OF CONSTRUCTION:

Direct acting hydraulic lifting components:

• Fixed cylinder: Fixed with the floor wall, where the sliding piston moves alternately when the pressure is applied.

• Cage: It is placed on top of the sliding piston where the load is placed (ie high load).

• Sliding lever: Mounts on the fixed cylinder that is reciprocating (up or down) when we apply the pressure (ie reaches the floor).

DIRECT ACTION HYDRAULIC LIFTING WORK:

When the fluid under pressure is forced into the cylinder, the pusher pushes up. The platform carries loads or passengers and moves between the guides. At the required height, it can be made to stay on the level with each floor so that the good or passengers can be transferred.

In the direct acting hydraulic lift, the stroke of the piston is equal to the lifting of the cage.
