HPCL is a Government of India Enterprise with a Navratna state, and a Forbes 2000 and Global Fortune 500 company. It was originally incorporated as a company under the Indian Companies Act of 1913. It is CIN No. L23201MH1952GOI008858.
It is traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), India.
HPCL owns and operates two large refineries producing a wide variety of fuels and oil specialties, one in Mumbai (West Coast) of 6.5 million metric tons per year and the other in Visakhapatnam (East Coast) with a capacity of 8 , 3 MMTPA. HPCL also owns and operates the largest lubrication refinery in the country, producing lubricant-based oxides of international standards, with a capacity of 428 TMT. This lubrication refinery represents more than 40% of India's total lubricant base oil production. HPCL currently produces more than 300 degrees of lubricants, specialties and fats. HPCL in collaboration with M / s Mittal Energy Investments Pte. Ltd .. is operating a capacity of 9 MMTPA Refinery in Bathinda with 49% capital in Punjab and also has a net worth of around 16.95% in the 15 MMTPA Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemical Ltd. (MRPL).
HPCL has the second largest share of pipeline products in India with a network of pipelines of more than 3015 kms for transportation of petroleum products and a vast marketing network composed of 13 zonal offices in major cities and 106 regional offices facilitated by A supply and distribution infrastructure comprising Terminals, Pipeline Networks, Aviation Service Stations, LPG Bottling Plants, Internal Relay Deposits and Points of Sale, Lubricants and LPG Distributors.
