ANNA UNIVERSITY EXAM PAPER CHASING - ANSWER SHEET CHASING
Many have heard about anna university exam paper chasing.
Do you believe in that ?
Yeah it happens and everyone knows it but it haven't came to light.
Even thought it is done in dark every year few professors/lecturer are charged for malpractice or fraud.
Although government is trying to improve literacy rate of Tamil Nadu and all our education system getting worse by few people.
Before engineering degree are felt great and hard to get it but now there is no competition and if you pass you can get into engineering college.
Then these people suffer lot to clear a paper. Even high scorer in 12th struggle in engineering college due to lack of interest and proper knowledge.
Most of the college debar or dismiss a student if he doesn't perform well or curtain arrear limit reach.
So they are forced to pass and due to pressure the search for illegal way to pass in exam by malpractice during examination or after by chasing paper.
Money plays everywhere. Professor are forced to do fraud.
Every year few students get passed by paper chasing.
This year it became a big issue few assistant professors are charged and arranged a committee to submit report about scam.
The Anna University has launched a probe into the alleged exam marks racket in the university at a time when a letter, allegedly written by a senior faculty member, is doing the rounds blaming vice-chancellor Prof. P. Mannar Jawahar for the scam.
The issue came to light when the faculty who allegedly evaluated the answer scripts of some influential students wrote to the chief minister’s special cell about the scam.
Meanwhile an anonymous letter believed to have been written by a senior faculty member in the university blamed university vice-chancellor Prof. P. Mannar Jawahar for the scam. The faculty member claimed that he had given a copy of an anonymous letter he had received about one of the dean’s involvement in the scam, to the present controller of examination Dr M. Venkatesan and additional controller of examinations Dr P. Narayanasamy.
“The faculty member from Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) had re-valued 18 subjects in a single day just a few days before the start of the semester examinations. He has given more than 50/60 marks for all the 18 subjects to f one student. The dean had asked the person, under the instructions of the V-C, to re-value the papers of a CEG student by an MIT staff,” the letter claimed.
When this correspondent asked the vice-chancellor for his comments about the scam and the anonymous letter, he said that the university had launched a probe to look into the issue.
