Sir,how can we calculate the index marks of plus two for admission of degree

INDEX MARK THE CALCULATION FOR GRADING ADMISSION 2016-2017


1. BONUS / WEIGHT FRAMES 1. The bonus / weight marks of NCC, NSS, etc. will be added. To the total of marks obtained in the qualifying examination to calculate the index marks and to the classification in the selection list in the case of candidates who already possess the required minimum marks.

2. In the case of exserviceman, widows and children of Jawan and former serving man, and widows and children of B.S.F. Dead or disabled personnel in action, to be admitted to B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. courses

3. Students who have worked on the Illiteracy Eradication Program voluntarily for at least one year will be entitled to 15 points as a bonus / weightage for the purpose of classifying them.

4. 15 The marks will be awarded as bonus marks to the NSS / NCC cadets subject to compliance with the following conditions, in order to classify them.
to. With respect to NCC applicants, bonus marks shall be awarded on the basis of NCC certificates signed by the Director and issued by NCC Management to candidates who have obtained at least 75% attendance after having participated In their activities during the course of the study immediately preceding the course for which admission is requested.
second. The basis for granting bonus marks to NSS participants will be an NSS certificate signed by the Director and issued by the NSS Directorate
C. The benefit of bonus marks for the purpose of admission can be tapped by candidates only in any category, either NSS or NCC.
re. Cadets holding A.B.C. Certificates are eligible for an additional weighting of 3.5.10 points, respectively, for admission to the degree courses, limited to a maximum of 10 points only.

5. A bonus / score of (10 points) will be awarded to those who achieved first place / grade A at Kerala Secondary / Vocational Arts Festivals.

6. 10 points will be deducted for each successive attempt after the first attempt outside the qualifying points to those who have taken two or more chances to complete the qualifying examination, with a maximum of 25 points. The number of occasions means the number of occasions taken to pass any part or parts of the qualifying examination. Improvement of the exam will not be considered as an opportunity.
