hi am rishabh maheshwari and i would like to get details on how to apply for internship in pwd jaipur..i am currently studying in srm university chennai and i will be available in jaipur from 3 june to 3 july and i will be living in c-scheme and i am a 3 year student

The Public Works Department has a glorious history in the development of the state since pre-independence. The department is mainly responsible for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges and government. Buildings. The department also acts as Technical Adviser to the State Government in these matters. Initially, the engineering of Irrigation, Public Health were PWD units. Subsequently, these units received separate entities to handle a larger field of work in the respective field. Since the beginning of the Department, it has strived for its continuous search for excellence and setting milestones in the engineering feat. It is this time that the Department is entering a new era of information technology to keep up with the pace of modernization. The Department of Public Works is the oldest engineering department in the state, has its well-woven net even below the level of traction allowed by P.W.D. To ensure the execution of a variety of jobs / tasks anywhere in the state. The total length of the road that maintains the department is more than 140000 KM. The Department also maintains state buildings throughout Rajasthan and outside. The current annual budget allocation to the department for construction and maintenance activities is over Rs 5000 Crores.
