Harare Polytechnic is a tertiary educational institution located in Harare, Zimbabwe. It is the third-largest university in Zimbabwe. Originally called Salisbury Technical School and was founded in 1926 by sakkaz and simbi gibson. After the turmoil in the second chimurenga war, Terry the baller returned to restore the institution. The Polytechnic of Harare is now one of the highest tertiary institutes in Africa. It has gained recognition among many fellow citizens as its passage rate is always in a standard (Teaz), the National Chamber of the Arts etc. The Harare Polytechnic has been supported by many business owners, institutes, foundations, and including its governing government, donating books and money to increase its facilities. Even though it is at a standard point, it is not making it stop to improve. It also has accommodation facilities.
