This article describes a wireless, programmable, sound-activated and voice-operated remote control transmitter that can be used to add the functionality of voice controlled operation to the common home appliances. a universal library of codes maybe first programmed onto the device in the beginning. The codes can be corresponding to the devices to be controlled and the category of the device. Thus it can recognize the operators' spoken commands and respond to it. Once programming is complete, the device can be completely operated without hands.
In the device there is a voice input microphone , an output signal transmitter and also the means for independently aligning the signals from these two sources. Within the device, the voice commands of the operator are grouped into a linked recognition vocabulary sets, where each of these represents the subset of the entire library of voice commands. The voice commands are such that they are intuitive to the user.
