Hi am sravani i would like to get details on hall effect sensor simulation in R 2016. My friend Thiru said hall effect sensor simulation will be available here and now i am living at banglore and i am studying m.tech,control systems in siddarth engineering college. i need help on simulation of hall effect sensor which is connected to the bldc motor

The complete flow of the manufacturing process and the electrical characteristics of the cross-shaped Hall sensor, the vertical Hall sensor and the MAGFET are simulated using the tools of the Silvaco and ISE TCAD software package. In addition, the efficient electric models of these devices are derived and successfully implemented in the SPICE circuit simulator.

A variety of passive and / or magnetic sensitive active devices integrated in standard CMOS IC technology can be designed and manufactured without breach of design standards. In the family of such devices, Hall plates and magnetic field-sensitive MOSFETs (MAGFET) appear to be the most popular integrated structures for sensor applications. The analysis of integrated magnetic sensor devices based on Hall effect or carrier deflection has generally been based on simple and intuitive analytical models. While some of these models remain valuable heuristic tools for the design and analysis of test devices in certain limiting cases, they are not appropriate for general device structures and operating conditions. Accordingly, accurate physical simulation of magnetic sensors is desirable to optimize the design and operation conditions of these sensors with respect to high magnetic sensitivity.

Unlike simulation of conventional semiconductor IC devices, numerical simulations of magnetic microsensors are relatively new. That is, the vector nature of the Lorentz force requires a complex analysis in space that can only be done through three-dimensional (3D) simulations. Recently, modules for 3D simulations of semiconductor magnetic sensors are available as part of commercial software packages such as Silvaco or Sentaurus / ISE TCAD.
