I am Electrical B.E student. As we are suppose to do a low budget mini project still I want to take some different project then normal mini project which should be entertaining as well as perfect. for example plasma generator I dont know its application but it looks pretty good. I need some mini project related to electrical or electronics but shouldn't be solely electronics I need a little bit of electrical in it too. Suggest me some good ideas the voltage range shouldnt be more than 24V. And if its more it should be worth please help me out asap!!

I would advice you to go for "PREPAID ENERGY METER" WHICH IMPLEMENTS MICRO CONTROLLERS ALONG WITH RELAY TO TRIP THE CIRCUIT.
