1) What is cloud computing?
Cloud computing is a new-age Internet-based computing technology. It is the technology of the next stage that uses clouds to provide services when and where the user needs it. Provides a method for accessing multiple servers around the world.
2) What are the benefits of cloud computing?
The main benefits of cloud computing are:
o Data backup and data storage.
o Powerful server capabilities.
o Increased productivity.
o Very cost-effective and time saving.
o Software as a service known as SaaS.
3) What is a cloud?
A cloud is a combination of networking, hardware, services, storage and interfaces that helps deliver computing as a service. It has three users:
1. End users
2. Business management users
3. cloud service provider
4) What are the different types of data used in cloud computing?
There are different types of data in cloud computing, such as emails, contracts, images, blogs, etc. As we know, data is increasing day by day, so new data types are needed to store these new data. For example, if you want to store video, then you need a new data type.
5) What are the different layers that define the architecture of the cloud?
Here are the different layers used by the cloud architecture:
o the CLC or Cloud Controller
o the walrus
o Cluster driver
o SC or storage controller
o The NC Controller or Node
6) What platforms are used for large-scale cloud computing?
The following platforms are used for large-scale cloud computing:
o the Apache Hadoop
o MapReduce
7) What are the different layers in computing in the cloud? Explain their work.
There are 3 layers in the hierarchy of computing in the cloud.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Provides cloud infrastructure in terms of hardware such as memory, processor, speed, etc.
Platform as a Service (PaaS): Provides a cloud application platform for the developer.
Software as a Service (SaaS) :: Provides cloud applications to users directly without installing anything on the system. These applications remain in the cloud.
