Google's self-directed automotive project started in 2009 on a premise: building a stand-alone vehicle by 2020.
Now, it's seven years later, and Google test cars have driven two million miles in four cities around the nation and have learned everything from how polkly honk to how to feel cyclists and pedestrians.
