Hi am Shubhanshu i would like to get details on full ppt on prject of transonic engine ..My friend Sid said full ppt on prject of transonic engine will be available here and now i am living at Ghaziabad and i studied in the college which name is MGM COET,NOIDA and now am doing B.TECH. i need help on this ppt for my seminar.

Transonic Combustion, a newly created company is developing a more efficient ICE technology that could lead to further efficiency gains. The ICE has seen more improvements in the last five years than in the last 20 years, the quietest distribution chain technology, direct fuel injection and variable intake and exhaust time, between Others, Efficiency and reduction of emissions.

Everyone knows that in the case of an ICE with gasoline, three things, compressed air, fuel and spark are needed, which are facilitated respectively by the crank and the pistons, the injection system and the ignition system.

By eliminating the ignition system and introducing a completely redesigned fuel injection system, Transonic claims to achieve a 50% increase in efficiency. Transonic even showed a prototype vehicle with new technology that was rated at 64 mpg.

To overcome the need for spark to ignite the fuel, the new injection system heats the fuel to a critical point, hardly timid of spontaneous combustion. When superheated and pressurized fuel is injected into the cylinder under compression, the heat of compression, like diesel technology, ignites the fuel. An advantage of the new system is that it can burn almost any fuel, from gasoline to biofuels and even diesel.

The new technology should cost the same as current engine systems, and Transonic is trying to put them into production by the end of 2014, Urgently needs to comply with the latest EPA emission regulations and reduce dependence on oil imports.
