This new technology enables isochronous service while providing the bandwidth needed for audio, imaging, video, and other streaming data. FireWire promises to revolutionize the transport of digital data for computers and for professional and consumer electronics products. By providing an inexpensive, high speed method of interconnecting digital devices.
