Fake Image Detector allows you to identify fake images. By fake image mean images that are altered with image manipulation software like Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, etc. Fake Image Detector provides two unique methods to reveal the hidden truth in your image.
Error Level Analysis (ELA)
ELA works on the basis that an altered or altered image the compression ratio of the modified part will change compared to the rest. By having a closer look at the ELA image, you can determine whether the image has been manipulated or not.
Analysis of metadata
Once you take a picture with your camera, a lot of information is embedded in the image (such as camera name, capure date etc) which is known as metadata, ie data about data. Metadata is altered when image editing programs are modified. This anomaly can be detected using a metadata analyzer.
