The design of the reinforced concrete water tank is based on IS 3370: 2009 (Parts I - IV). The design depends on the location of the tanks, that is, on the head, in underground or underground water tanks. The tanks can be made in different shapes, circular and rectangular shapes are generally used. The tanks can be made of RCC or even steel. Elevated tanks generally rise from the top of the roof to the column. On the other hand, the underground tanks rest on the base.
