Buildings are built for function, beauty, fame, gain, remembrance, fun, economy and motivation hierarchy depending on the owner or developer. Safety has generally not been considered a critical factor. But in high-rise buildings, the cost in terms of human life in a natural disaster or a man-made accident will be so high that the safety of life should become the first consideration, starting from the concept stage. Living and working in height are inevitable in the modern urban environment. Countries around the world are reaching more and more toward the heavens. The document will discuss strategies implemented to ensure the safety of occupants in tall buildings under fire conditions. The life safety strategy should integrate key fire safety systems with building characteristics. The potential use of vertical transport for staged evacuation requires a combination of safe havens; Innovative management of smoke and sophisticated communication systems to ensure that occupants under threat of fire are moved to safe places within the building.

The height of very tall buildings demands a great demand in time for the evacuation of occupants, fire fighting, search and rescue and preservation of the building. When considering fire protection measures for tall buildings, it has become clear that the safety of occupants and firefighters depends on the design of the building as a whole. One approach to life safety strategy was to protect instead. Occupants of tall buildings near the fire would evacuate using the vertical transport system; While occupants away from the fire would remain protected inside the structure. To facilitate this strategy, the fire must be kept small and people in the area of fire origin must be allowed to move safely within the structure. The key to the strategy was the design of an integrated fire safety system, taking into account the unique characteristics of the building influencing fire and smoke spread throughout the building.
