Hello there
Myself Priya Laungani . I am a student of Aayogan school of architecture .My professor has suggested me books on mechanical engineering , which are as under :
Engineering Mechanics , New Age Publications, S.S bhavikatti
Engineerig Mechanics ,Made Easy Publications , U.C Jinetta C
Engineering Mechanics, D.S Kumar
He said it's pdf download would be available here .
Your early response will be of great help.
Thank You

The objective of this course of Mechanical Engineering is to expose students to problems in mechanics applied to plausibly real scenarios. Problems of particular types are explored in detail in the hope that students will gain an inductive understanding of the principles underlying work; Students should be able to recognize problems of this type in real-world situations and respond accordingly.
As shown in the diagram, mechanics is the first and most fundamental branch of physics, supporting Thermodynamics and Electricity, and including Statics, Dynamics (= Kinematics + Kinetics); All of which are highly applicable in engineering. But the most important part of them is static (study of the body at rest) which is not only a basis for all others, but also have the highest engineering application. Physics also involves optics, waves, quantum, and relativity theory, which have no fundamental engineering application yet.
