A new technology that provides a promising solution for the design of self-powered micro systems. The collection of energy from the Micro-Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) is an emerging alternative to collect energy from natural sources. It has ample potential in wireless sensor applications to provide a natural energy source that is essentially inexhaustible. It is an increasingly attractive alternative to expensive batteries. This essentially free energy source is available without maintenance for the lifetime of the application. Many systems, such as wireless sensor networks, portable electronics and cell phones, can use this technology as a power source. Although some types of MEMS, such as electromagnetic MEMS, electrostatic MEMS and piezoelectric MEMS, are used to provide power in various applications, they have several technical barriers that limit their applications, including low efficiency, scaling problems and high cost. Our new MEMS solar energy collection technology is scalable and also easily integrates into micro systems. The RF MEMS design not only has to provide functional efficiency but it must also work within the limits of maximum load and discharge conversion efficiency. The energy-harvesting technologies currently available that use MEMS RF to convert solar energy into charge can yield better benefits than photo-voltaic cells. In this work we offer design, manufacture, testing and evaluation of RF MEMS and its limits of work in loading and unloading.
