HDFC (Housing Development Financial Corporation) Bank Limited is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has 84,325 employees and has a presence in Bahrain, Hong Kong and Dubai. HDFC Bank is the largest private sector lender in India by assets. It is the largest bank in India by market capitalization since February 2016. It ranked 69th in 2016 BrandZ Top 100 of the most valuable global brands. The last entry in the league is 'Project AI', under which HDFC Bank, in the coming weeks, would deploy robots in select bank branches. These robots will offer options such as withdrawal or deposit in cash, forex, fixed deposits and demat services that are displayed on a screen to customers.
